Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes to destinations including Florida.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the truck clean and maintain professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must have a clean driving record with no DUIs or reckless driving violations within the last 5 years.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel to various locations across the United States.
