Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within 150-mile radius of Seattle
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles per DOT regulations and company standards
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Complete electronic logs and delivery documentation with precision
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining safety-first protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Participate in monthly safety training and equipment maintenance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate warehouse equipment
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and electronic logging device usage
- Strong time management skills for multi-stop delivery routes
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
- Washington State residency required for home daily positions
