Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within North Carolina and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety standards
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of route planning and GPS navigation
- Flexibility for overnight travel (2-3 nights weekly)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional time management and communication abilities
