Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van) on dedicated routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and logs
- Maintain consistent on-time delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure secure cargo handling and loading/unloading protocols
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Transportation Security Administration (TSA) clearance preferred
