Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for weekend delivery routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and adhere to FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch for route adjustments and updates
- Ensure cargo security and temperature compliance (if applicable)
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
