Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork (Bill of Lading, Delivery Receipts).
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or serious moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with ELD devices and logbook compliance.
