Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks (dry van/reefer) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Represent Capital Fleet Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC metro traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
- Strong communication and time management skills
- No preventable accidents in last 24 months
