Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) to transport goods within DC, Maryland, and Virginia
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and time management
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DC metro area highways and delivery routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
