Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement protocols
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
