Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and compliance documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT standards
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to diverse locations including warehouses and distribution centers
- Uphold exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
