Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on designated regional routes
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch regarding route progress and delays
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation regulations
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to handle freight loading/unloading (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
