Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic communication with dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License (permit holders with a school sponsor are encouraged to apply).
- Must be 21 years of age or older (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to cross-country freight routes.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid Social Security Card.
