Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time while adhering to strict schedules.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and electronic logging (ELD) records.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or route changes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- No prior driving experience required; we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for communication.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
