Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be willing to obtain one.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Willingness to undergo a physical examination.
