Job Overview
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. You will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and in compliance with traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo according to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or eligibility to obtain one through our training program.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commuting to the terminal.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
