Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local and regional routes during night shifts
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using industry-standard equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and regional routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (7 PM - 5 AM)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
