Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for regional routes in Michigan and Ohio
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight to distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Michigan/Ohio highway systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights per week)
- DOT medical certification
