Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend delivery routes across Texas
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision and verify shipment accuracy
- Adapt to flexible scheduling including weekends and overnight routes
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and delivery optimization
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) and overnight routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
