Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to customers in Philadelphia and Ohio.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (lift gates, pallet jacks).
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Experience: No prior driving experience required. We offer paid training for new drivers.
- Background: Clean driving record and passing background check.
- Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- English Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Availability:
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
