Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screening certification.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
