Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision using various equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route navigation and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Report mechanical issues and participate in preventive maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and route navigation proficiency
