Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) following DOT regulations and company policies
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining delivery schedules and mileage logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate documentation including bills of lading and delivery reports
- Adapt to changing conditions while prioritizing safety and on-time delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Arizona roadways and traffic regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
