Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to diverse locations across California and Southwest
- Maintain professional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS systems for optimized route navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding and tanker endorsements preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and mountain routes
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend availability
- Professional communication skills in English
