Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods safely and efficiently across the region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure total compliance and safety.
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and maintain compliance with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and safety culture.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork management.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing minor vehicle maintenance.
