Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Execute efficient delivery routes while maintaining strict DOT compliance
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for optimal load planning and timing
- Utilize advanced telematics systems for real-time route optimization
- Implement defensive driving techniques across all weather conditions
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery manifests
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) operations
- Strong knowledge of Indiana highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading tasks
