Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes throughout the Seattle area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo is secure and protected.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
