Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently within the DC metropolitan area
- Transport goods between distribution centers, warehouses, and client locations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading when required (non-hazardous materials)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DC metro routes and traffic patterns
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
