Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) within Omaha metro and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately complete pre-trip inspections and post-trip documentation
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate status updates to dispatch
- Secure and verify cargo at pickup/delivery points
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Omaha metro area residency preferred
