Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time load updates and route adjustments
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and ensure compliance with HOS regulations
- Deliver freight to diverse destinations including distribution centers and retail hubs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with 48 states
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
- Must be 21+ years old with US work authorization
