Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Complete accurate logbooks and electronic logging system entries
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load updates
- Secure and unload freight using proper loading techniques
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southeastern US routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
