Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Manage electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Indiana or out-of-state with reciprocity)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including weekends and overnight trips
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
