Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route adjustments
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Secure and verify cargo before transit
- Report mechanical issues immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times
