Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) on regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient load deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Document delivery receipts and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain clean driving record and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
