Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding shipment status and delays
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable schedules
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications if required
