Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) for regional deliveries
- Plan and execute optimal routes to meet tight delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Perform minor roadside repairs and coordinate maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and PA/NJ roadways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
