Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over 26,000 lbs
- Transport freight between Fresno, Bakersfield, and Modesto
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with flatbed, refrigerated, or dry van trailers
- Knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
