Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local roads to deliver freight on time and damage-free.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement techniques.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Valid Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen clearance.
