Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading and route optimization
- Deliver freight to distribution centers, retail locations, and job sites with precision
- Document delivery receipts and resolve any discrepancies with recipients
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in quarterly safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and mountain driving techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to submit to background check and MVR verification
