Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas
- Ensure safe delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Optimize route efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork for all shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR/Regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
