Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on long-haul routes across the continental US
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Complete electronic logs (ELD) and required paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience OR graduation from certified CDL school
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with DOT regulations
- Flexible schedule availability including overnight travel
- Basic understanding of freight documentation
