Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and local deliveries
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and scheduling
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazmat endorsements
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Adhere to all federal/state safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card if applicable
- Proven experience with multi-stop delivery routes and time management
- Familiarity with Denver metro area and regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
