Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes within South Florida
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance coordination
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly
