Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and minor preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery deadlines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally with every customer interaction
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holiday schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
