Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle freight documentation and customer interactions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Perform minor preventive maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
