Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/local experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Texas road networks and regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb trailer decks
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
