Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and proper documentation (BOLs, permits)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Report maintenance issues promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Strong knowledge of mountain driving conditions and winter protocols
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional runs (2-4 nights/week)
- Pass comprehensive background and drug screening
