Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of California and Georgia highway systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- DOT medical certification and Hazmat endorsement preferred
