Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on highways and local roads within the assigned region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and good standing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
