Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on time.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) in full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers at delivery points.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Physical).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to travel to Washington DC and surrounding North Carolina regions.
