Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper securing methods to prevent damage.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and customer service expectations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding load status and delays.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
